World Narcissistic Abuse Awareness Day

June 1st, is World Narcissistic Abuse Awareness Day or otherwise known as WAAD.

Every June 1st, the day is given over to raising awareness of what it is that is narcissistic abuse, what it looks like, how it is perpetrated and what can be done to minimise its harmful effects and to, in the future, avoid as much as possible.

This website is dedicated to helping those who have sadly experienced narcissistic abuse. This website is from a Christian worldview because, owing to my lived experience, what I have found is the best way to help with the healing process, is the wonderful and powerful words of God.

Did you know that what we would identify as taxi traits can be found in the Bible?

2 Timothy 3:2-5 informs us that:

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!’

We are instructed, actually, commanded to stay away from these individuals.

Staying away can be difficult for some, but those who can, do so.

However, everyone can seek out healing for themselves. Therefore, check out the 10-step recovery guide in the store to help you recover and heal from this impactful abuse which scars are not always visible.

Until next time.

Love & Blessings
